General Presentation.

Versatile control system for marine applications. The design concept allows customization of a number of buttons, text and graphics, and is therefore useful for a wide range of applications.

  • For 24V, 115V and 230V power supply. Connections for up to four power supplies.

TEF 4900 Commander series.

The operator panels for TEF 4900 Commander are very flexible in sizes and configurations. The panels are custom built and allow for use of text in several languages as well as graphics, such as small frames, etc. With a dimmable backlight these are easy to read in daylight as well as at night. Several panels may be connected to the same network, more typical with non-critical applications. Main and spare lanterns are handled in the same button, which simplifies and enhances safety. Automatic change over to spare lanterns with full alarm tracing. The user may select to turn on the main lanetrn or the spare lantern, depending on the time the button is pressed. Special function buttons may be set up to automatically turn on and off lanterns with one single button, such as sailing lanterns on and anchor lanterns off. Alarms are provided with flashing red leds as well as a buzzer for audible alarms.

Commander Utility.

The operator panels for TEF 4500 Commander Utilty are very flexible in sizes and configurations. The panels are custom built and allow for use of text in several languages.

With a dimmable backlight these are easy to read in daylight as well as at night. Several panels may be connected to the same network, more typical with non-critical applications.

Alarms are provided with flashing leds as well as a buzzer for audible alarms. Alarms are acknowledged and silenced by pushing the Alarm Acknowledge button.

Designed for connection of navigation and signal light where the status of the light has to be monitored. Delivered for 4 or 8 output circuits, 24V or 115/230V.

  • DIN rail mounting.
  • 4 or 8 output circuits.
  • 2-pole switching. Both poles fused.
  • Build-in current detection to determine if output circuits are OK or not.
  • Lamp circuits galvanic isolated from control circuit.
  • Local emergency switches for control of outputs.
  • Connections for main and emergency supply to output circuits.
  • Build-in snubber network which allows termination of a wide range of communication cable, 100-250ohm characteristic impedance. End resistors shall not be used.
  • Current detection can be disabled on any circuit if a particular system does not require this feature.

Designed for controlling Tranberg’s Commander Series. Each CPU is configured at the factory for each individual system.

  • DIN rail mounting.
  • Supplies control power to other modules in the Commander system.
  • Monitoring of up to 4 power supplies, 24VDC.
  • Potential free general alarm output, 1C/O contact.
  • Alarm silence digital input, 24VDC.
  • Acknowledged alarm output, 1C/O potential free contact. Used to silence alarm at external alarm central.
  • Options: Galvanic isolated communication port for connection to Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) or SCADA interface.
  • Build-in snubber network which allows termination of a wide range of communication cable, 100-250ohm characteristic impedance. End resistors shall not be used.
